Judy Ankrom General Manager/Licensed Funeral Director/Licensed Preneed Agent

Job Description: Judy oversees the day to day operations of the funeral home.  She meets with families for pre-arrangement planning, at need arrangements, and monuments.  She also directs funerals, gravesides, or memorial services; and carries out many other responsibilities that are needed, such as the training of employees.

 

High School:  Marion C. Early High School, Morrisville, Missouri

 

Licensed Funeral Director: Since 1984, and manager since 1999.

 

Anything else:  Judy joined Meadors Funeral Home on September 21, 1983.  She has served as a Commissioner on the Republic Senior Housing Board for over 17 years.  Judy has two sons, a granddaughter, and two step grandsons.

Richard "Rick" Lindsey Licensed Embalmer and Licensed Funeral Director

Job Description:  Rick is an embalmer and makes other preparations for the body; and assists in directing funerals, gravesides, or memorial services; and carries out any other responsibilities as needed.

 

High School:  Lafayette High School, St. Joseph, Missouri

 

College:  Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, in Dallas, Texas, with an Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Science and Embalming, in 1976.

 

Anything else:  Rick joined Meadors Funeral Home in the spring of 2004.  Although sadly, Rick has lost his wife, a son, and infant baby; he proudly has two other children, and many grandchildren.  He is a U.S. Air Force veteran, and has been an embalmer and funeral director for over 40 years.

Lynn Delgado Apprentice Embalmer and Apprentice Funeral Director

Job Description:  Lynn helps to embalm and make other preparations for the body; meets with funeral director and families to help make arrangements; assists in directing visitations, funerals, gravesides, or memorial services; and carries out any other responsibilities needed.

 

High School: Messmer Catholic High School, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

 

College:  Arkansas State University, Mountain Home, with an Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Science and Embalming; and a Technical Certificate in Funeral Directing, in 2017.

 

Anything else:  Lynn joined Meadors Funeral Home on October 3, 2016.  She is married with four children.  After raising her children, Lynn went back to school in 2013, to begin her career in funeral service.

Christina Sanders Administrative Assistant

Job Description:  Answering the phone and greeting families as they come in; assisting the general manager, funeral directors, and families in processing the necessary documents at time of need: such as filing for the death certificates, social security notifications, insurance claims, and veteran’s benefits, including Military Honors; also, preparing obituaries, books, cards, and bookmarker laminates; and performing any other tasks needed.

 

High School:  Central High School, Springfield, Missouri

 

College:  Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Sociology.

 

Anything else:  Christina joined Meadors Funeral Home on September 9, 1999.  She was married in 1976, and has a son and daughter-in-love, and two cherished granddaughters.
