Obituary for CHARLES LEWIS JENKINS

Charles Lewis Jenkins, age 88, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri passed away December 5, 2018, 6:33 A.M. at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born March 13, 1930 in Crane, Missouri and was the son of James Lewis and Olive Florence (Nelson) Jenkins, who preceded him in death.

He married Beverly A. Daum of Clever, Missouri on October 26, 1957, who survives him. Other survivors include sons, Randall and GinnaGayle Daum of Clever, Missouri, Roger and Brenda Jenkins of Aurora, Missouri, Greg and Teresa Jenkins of Pierce City, Missouri and Barth and Brooke Jenkins of Mt. Vernon, Missouri as well as 8 grandkids, 8 great-grandkids and other relatives.

Mr. Jenkins was a member of the Christian Church of Clever, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church at 305 N.
