Mark David Brown, 53, of Lawrence County, passed away on October 18, 2019, from a long battle with heart disease. He was born on July 3, 1966 in Aurora MO, to Max and Rebecca (Jackson) Brown, of Republic.
He loved growing up on the family farm. It is there, that he realized his love for working on cars.
Mark attended school at Republic. His favored career choices were truck driving, mechanical repair and antique Archaeology. He worked many years for Britain Brothers feed store in Lawrenceburg, MO. He loved meeting and visiting with all the people that shopped there.
One of Marks hobbies was creating beautiful stained glass. We are fortunate to have many of
the beautiful pieces that he created.
Above all, Mark's greatest joy in life was his daughter Maggie June.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Becky Brown, of Republic, his paternal
grandparents Smith and Belle Brown of Republic and maternal grandparents, Glen and
Willenna Jackson of Marionville Mo. And his brother-in-law, John Wilson of Republic, Mo.
He is survived by his daughter Maggie, of the home; two sisters, Gala Brown Wilson of Republic and Jana Sue Brown of Clever; three nieces, Sara Hamilton (Jeff) of Clever, Leah Crouse (Bobby) of Republic, and Chloe Borneman of Clever and one nephew Andrew Borneman of Clever, along with aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 25, from 6 to 8 PM at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri.
