Obituary for MARTHA LOUISE ANDERSON

Martha Louise Anderson, age 83, of Marshfield, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born on June 7, 1936 in Brumley, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond L. and Susie Marie (Sons) Pemberton.

Martha retired after 24 years of service with General Electric in Springfield, Missouri. She loved her family and had a very giving nature. She was known especially for her dishes of roast and noodles, squirrel and dumplings, and her delicious, made from scratch mashed potatoes. Martha was a Christian lady that loved to sing and especially in later years loved breakfast and coffee with two creams. She will be missed always and lovingly remembered by her family.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters in law, Roger and Elizabeth Young, and Danny and Melissa Young; five grandchildren, Johnny L. Young, Dereon Young, Brayden Young, Anthony Sims and Megan Sims; two great grandchildren; and a very special niece, Vereena Glenn.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Hartville Missouri. Family and friends may share online condolences at www.meadorsfuneralhome.com
