Obituary for ROBERT H. WOLFE

Mr. Robert H. “Bob” Wolfe, age 90, of Billings, Missouri, passed away in his home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was born on October 20, 1927, in Clever, Missouri, the son of Dee and Shirley (Henderson) Wolfe.

Bob was united in marriage to Demis J. Lane on August 13, 1949 in Clever, Missouri, and they enjoyed 55 years together before Demis sadly passed away on March 10, 2005.

Others who preceded Bob in death were his parents; and siblings, Francis, Ermel, Deforest, and Eva.

Bob, a cattleman and farmer, enjoyed working in his garden and yard, and even running the chainsaw. He also loved spending time with his family, and listening to bluegrass music.

Bob is survived by a son, Orra E. “Butch” Wolfe and his wife, Coreen, of Warsaw, Mo.; a daughter, Mary Caldwell and her husband Sam, of Billings, Mo.; granddaughters, Tina Berryman and husband Mike, Lori Wolfe Rapp, Erin Wolfe, and Tammi Stolte and her husband Allen; great grandchildren, Taylor, Jordon, Haillie, Blake, Jenna, Cameron, Ryan, Cody, and Allyson; a sister, Rowena Oliphant, of Kansas City, Mo.; and many other extended family and friends.

Meadors Funeral Home, Billings Chapel, will be open from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018, for visitors to pay their respects. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Rose Hill West Cemetery, Billings.
