Obituary for CASSINDA A. DECKARD

Mrs. Cassinda Anastasia Deckard, age 32, passed away in her home in Springfield, Missouri, on Saturday, March 31, 2018. She was born on December 18, 1985 in Springfield, Missouri.

A newlywed, Cassinda was united in marriage to Jason Ray Deckard on June 5, 2017.

Cassinda attended high school in Republic, Missouri, and was employed for a short time at Sonshine Manor, also in Republic. She was a member of James River Assembly of God.

Cassinda was devoted to her son, Trey. She enjoyed taking pictures and making collages.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, “Papa,” Franklin Gerald “Frank” Cartright, on March 11, 2018.

Cassinda is survived by her husband, Jason; son, John “Trey” Birdwell III; her mother and step father, Resa Ann (Cartright) and Darren Trader; her father, John F. Kothenbeutal; a brother, Kegan Cartright Trader; a sister, Athena Pierce; his grandmother, Patricia Cartright; and many other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 in the First Baptist Brookline Church, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic Chapel. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Alpha Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri. Contributions may be sent to the family for a monument, in care of Meadors Funeral Home, 314 N.
