William Dale Sifferman, age 93, of Lancaster, California, formerly of Billings, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was born on July 4, 1924, in Bois D’ Arc, Missouri, the son of Lewis Dale and Nellie F. (Biellier) Sifferman.

Dale honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Dale was united in marriage to Dr. Emily Priscilla “Pat” (Schneider) in September of 1948, in Bentonville Arkansas. They lived in the Kansas City, Missouri area before moving to California in 1955. They loved their frequent trips to Missouri to spend time on their farm in the Billings area. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage before Pat passed away on November 14, 2007.

He retired as a machinist tool and die maker. Dale enjoyed gardening, barbequing, and spending time with his family.

Others who preceded Dale in death were three sons, David William Sifferman, Michael Dale Sifferman, and Kevin Lewis Sifferman; his parents; and a sister, Hildred Watson.

He is survived by a son, Shawn E. Sifferman; four daughters, Sharron Kathleen Salas, Janice Patricia Rons, Emily Christina Kochel and her husband Marc, and Colleen Priscilla Sifferman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Sifferman and Melvin Norris Sifferman; two sisters, Regina Maness, and Norreva Simmons; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Billings. Burial will follow with military honors, in Rock Prairie Cemetery, Halltown Missouri.
