There are condolences waiting approval on SHARON's Tribute wall

Mrs. Sharon Lea (Roberts) Gardner, age 74, of Republic, Missouri, entered Heaven on Friday, July 13, 2018, to become a Heavenly Baby Rocker, a job Sharon always said she would enjoy. She was born on April 22, 1944 in Blue Springs, Missouri, to Orville Myrl and Nona Annamae (Ramsey) Roberts.

Sharon was married to Jimmy Don Gardner on February 15, 1964, and to this union three children were born.

Sharon had been a homemaker, seamstress, and childcare provider. Her first love was family, but her faith in God sustained her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Republic and enjoyed attending church.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kendall Dalton; an infant grandbaby; an infant great grandbaby (child of Kylee Dalton); her parents; and a sister, Nadine Bushong.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jim; a son, Timothy (Debby) Gardner; two daughters, Angela (Brian) Dalton, and Jennifer (Bill) Buckingham; grandchildren, McKenzie (Brad) Boatright, Kylee Dalton (Jayson Livingston), Aubrey (Blake) Simmons, Alexis Bishop, Brooke Bishop, and Luke Gardner. Sharon’s pride and joy were her great grandchildren, Jude and Nora Boatright and Baby Simmons (due in December). She is also survived by siblings, Bill Roberts, Shirley (Gene) Williams, Carol Chilton, and David (Linda) Roberts; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
